陪家人准备正月里的食物,已经成为过年期间的一种仪式。每年腊月二十四五,爸妈就会陆续开始制作熟肉。卤牛肉,猪蹄、猪心、猪肺、猪肝、猪尾巴,炖鸡肉,煮羊肉,熬羊汤,拌肉馅,蒸肉丸,包蛋卷,煎烧肉,炸带鱼,每一样食物都散发着家和幸福的味道。饺子和油糕包得晚些,过年前一两天开始准备就好。于是,在这一周左右的时间里,两个大冰箱就这样一步一步被填得满满当当。

Preparing food for Spring Festival has become a ritual in my family. About a week before Chinese new year, everyone gets into this important work. During a few days, two large refrigerators were filled up step by step.
